Java Developer
Location: Chicagoland Area
Description: RiverPoint is looking for a Java Developer with 3-5 years experience for projects in the Chicagoland area. This individual will perform application software analysis, design, programming, testing and support. This individual requires strong communication skills, solid analytical skills and good design and programming skills.
Required Skills:
- Designing, programming, deploying and maintaining Java and HTML code
- N-tier, OO software, UML, RUP, ANT, JSP/J2EE, MVC/Struts, WebLogic, WAS, MQ
- Programming and shell scripting for Unix
- Programming for relational database management systems
- Supporting applications in, or converting from, mainframe environments
- Test scripting, execution and documentation
- End-user support and problem analysis
- Team player with good organization skills and attention to detail
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge of multiple-level (client-server or n-tier) applications
- Unit, string and integration testing
- Developing and supporting software for large, multi-site organizations
