Java Developer 7640S
Location: Kansas City
Description: The selected Java Developer will be working with an existing CMS implementation and extranet applications and may also require new development based on client requests for 2008. This will include maintenance on existing applications, as well as working on projects to provide additional functionality and add–on applications. The selected candidate will work throughout the lifecycle from design to development, deployment and support of all tiers of the application.
What is expected:
You will leverage your knowledge of Java-based Web architecture and related technologies. A diverse toolkit in Java is necessary, using technologies such as MySql, Spring, Linux, Hibernate, Web Services, JSTL, and Perl and others. Experience in and a good understanding of the object-oriented paradigm is a must for this position. Excellent analytic skills and the ability to identify problems and provide solutions efficiently with minimal direction also will be a factor in your success. You will be working on challenging projects in a highly deadline-driven environment so adaptability and flexibility are other attributes that will be important.
