Location: Lenexa, KS
Description: The selected .NET Developer will build file/data transport interfaces and systems with external trading partners. The position is primarily geared at data transmission which will involve a heavy amount of Web services, data transformation and normalization across several disparate platforms. This is a senior-level position, so the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of systems design, build and performance.
What will be expected:
The successful candidate will have expertise building applications using C#, VB 6 and ASP .NET utilizing externally exposed Web Services interacting with both Oracle and SQL databases including using Web services for transactional and business processes. He/she also will need to be able to handle older C and C++ languages on a VMS system. He/she will also need to have solid understanding of communication protocols (FTP, Fax, Modem). Interpersonal qualities will include confidence and ability to interact with both the business and technical teams
