Description: The successful .NET Developer will serve as a member of the Web development team in troubleshooting and enhancing current enterprise Web applications, as well as developing new Web applications. He/she will be assigned to both internal systems projects, as well as ad hoc customer projects. This is a data-driven organization which provides a lot of opportunity to work with complex SQL queries running from raw data feeds. He/she will work in a highly collaborative environment tasked with supporting and enhancing existing applications, as well as providing expertise throughout the development lifecycle on new initiatives. This is a challenging position where the individual selected will have an opportunity to bring their ideas and creativity to the table, be proactive in their day-to-day work and be rewarded for their excellence.
What is expected:
The selected candidate must have 4+ years of experience in medium to large scale Web development running on a SQL Server backend. Advanced knowledge of VB.NET, HTML and experience with querying SQL Server via ASP.NET are required. Strong SQL (stored procedures, complex views, etc...), SQL optimization, C#, AJAX and MDX experience are a huge plus. Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with team members, attention to detail and the desire to learn new technologies are a must.
