QA Tester 7646S
Location: Kansas City
Description: Successful candidates will work in a fast-paced and technically diverse environment. He/she will be responsible for all aspects of application testing including developing system test plans, scenarios, test cases and executing performance, regression, capacity and user acceptance testing. He/she will also develop manual and automated testing scripts and scenarios based on functional and technical specifications. He/she will leverage a strong foundation in Web-based application and database programming knowledge to analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot application issues and communicate to the technical team unresolved issues.
What is expected:
Candidates MUST have a combination of understanding of current Web technologies coupled with how they are applied in an enterprise environment. He/she will have demonstrated understanding of the SDLC, processes and methodologies and adherence to set quality standards. A minimum of 2-4 years of experience with QA is mandatory with a strong understanding of technical environments including cross-browser compatibility, application servers and relational database systems. A solid background in database systems and strong SQL skills also is necessary.
