SharePoint Administrator 7594S
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Description: The selected SharePoint/Exchange Administrator will be the primary administrator of all MOSS implementations, along with serving a general administrative function of other network technologies including, but not limited to Exchange, routers, firewalls, SAN and other enterprise technologies. The candidate will develop and document processes, change control procedures and general administrative duties for MOSS including production code deployment. Other responsibilities will include:
- Participate in the planning and execution of development tasks while ensuring high site availability and uptime
- Recommend and implement incremental feature sets to the MOSS environment
- Configure and maintain various SharePoint applications including lists, document libraries, site collections, etc..
- Configure and maintain document libraries, lists and WSS site collections.
- Be able to perform typical administrative activities such as backup, restore, site creation and user issue resolution
- Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing effective procedures and systems requirements that meet business requirements
- Gather and document requirements from non-technical business users, translate the business requirements into system requirements, create a prototype of recommended solutions, demo to the users and implement the solution
- Deploy all patch methodologies
- Work with ISA in relation to the MOSS implementation
What will be expected:
The selected candidate must have 3 or more years experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2003/2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 2.0/3.0. In addition, He/she should have experience with Microsoft Office Exchange 2003 and 2007. He/she should be familiar with Windows Server 2003 hosted environments, configurations and management, authentication (particularly LDAP, Active Directory, OpenLDAP and/or Novell eDirectory). One or more of the following certifications is highly preferred:
- MOSS 2007/Configuration & Application Development
- WSS 3.0/Configuration & Application Development
- MCDBA or Technical Specialist on SQL Server 2005
- A Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS or Mathematics is preferred
