SQL Server/SSIS Developer 7610S
Location: Johnson County, KS
Description: The selected SQL Serve /SSIS Developer will be working primarily with the integrations services module implementing packages for an existing data warehouse. He/she will be responsible for data extract, transform and load operations and data normalization as it is staged and imported into the warehouse. This includes developing and implementing SSIS packages from flat files to translate and load into SQL Server databases, as well as to staging and data warehouse tables.
What is expected:
The selected candidate will have at least 2–4 years overall database development experience and be an expert with the SSIS tool contained in SQL Server 2005 including SSIS scripting. He/she also must be an expert in writing complex SQL and stored procedures. He/she must be able to leverage advanced functionality of SSIS 2005 in data extract and load operations and to develop, schedule and implement SSIS packages from SQL Server to staging and datawarehouse tables. He/she must be data scheme literate with experience in both normalized and de-normalized data environments from a wide variety of data sources. He/she must be a self starter, aggressive with action items with good communication skills, both oral and written. He/she must be able to learn quickly and work independently with little guidance.
