As a technical leader within the organization, you will work with internal account managers and technical teams and serve as an expert to the external customer technical teams. You’ll dive right into the job, working with customers out of the gate, so you’ll need to be able to think on your feet. You’ll work closely with your team, assigning tasks to take advantage of the strengths of each individual team member. Developing functional and technical design documents and ensuring standards and procedures are in place for projects will also be part of your world. Your broad-base of expertise in enterprise Web development and CRM and knowledge of best practices for object oriented design and delivery methodologies will ensure applications are scaleable and delivered on time with quality. You’ll be amazed at how quickly your skills will develop as you manage scope and development resources on multiple projects across their customer base
What is expected:
This position entails assisting the organization in implementing IBM’s eCommerce Enterprise platform. The selected candidate will need to have been through at least two soup-to-nuts eCommerce implementations, preferably in a retail environment (or at least have some retail expertise). He/she will also need a solid foundation in Object-Oriented design and architecture and best practices building enterprise level n-tier applications on the Java platform.
