Opportunities
MOSS Developer 7455
Location: Omaha, NE
Description: This is an exciting opportunity to serve on a team delivering Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) solutions. You will be responsible for working with team leaders, as well as business clients to design, develop and deploy systems to specification. There are many different projects going on concurrently and always new business opportunities in the pipeline so this is a position that will be challenging, always evolving and require someone who is able to multi-task, roll with the punches, adapt to different project demands and understand the fluid nature of this business.
What to expect:
The successful candidate will be a solid ASP.NET/C# Web developer that has MOSS 2007 (preferred) or SharePoint 2003 experience. If candidates have recent working MOSS 2007 experience we would be willing to consider a junior-level person (recent working experience would be someone that has developed with MOSS for 3 months in the last year). Otherwise, this position will require a developer with SharePoint 2003 experience who has actually “developed” applications that integrate with the sites. Candidates who only have set up sites, or only created Web parts or other superficial tasks will not be suitable. It is important that the candidate has a firm understanding of MOSS; this includes how data is stored, how collections and sites are managed, how authentications work, etc… Projects will be delivered on an iterative lifecycle, so candidate must be able to adapt quickly to changing requirements. He/she also must be able to communicate effectively with end users during deployment phase and be able to transfer knowledge to client technical teams.
