.NET/Database Developer 6982
Location: Omaha, NE
Description: Our client is searching for .NET / Database Developers to become a key member developing leading edge, Web-based software solutions in ASP.NET and C# technologies for the Petroleum industry.
The successful .NET/ Database Developer will be assigned to a team building custom Web pages using ASP.NET and C#, implementing client–side scripts in JavaScript, designing Web pages using HTML, developing middleware objects using C# and implementing stored procedures, and functions using Oracle PL/SQL. The successful .NET/Database Developer will also work independently on database redesign and maintenance projects.
What is expected:
The selected candidate must have a BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of work experience in application development and expert level experience in ASP.NET, C# and Visual Studio. Experience with data access layer (ADO.NET or JDBC) is required. A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in Oracle 8i, 9i or 10g and PL SQL development experience is required. Experience developing Web Services is required and experience with AJAX is a plus. Good logic and physical data modeling experience is required. The ability to support and assist the team in the design, development, testing, tuning and implementation of database application is required.
