Senior Enterprise Telecom Engineer 7169
Location: Omaha, NE
Description: The Senior Enterprise Telecom Engineer is responsible for strategically designing, testing, and implementing transport and tandem switching telecommunications systems that support core organizational functions. Ensuring their high availability while remaining consistent with the organizations corporate policies is also key to supporting the future telecom needs of the business, it's team members, partners and stakeholders. This role is also essential to planning work flow recommendations, mentoring other EIT team members. The incumbent will also manage, maintain and test all existing and future telecom transport systems to ensure the reliability and integrity of these essential systems.
What is expected:
3 years of Telecom Engineering and Design experience is required for this position, as well as 7 years of increasingly responsible experience in the telecom or information technology industry. Extensive experience with TDM delivery architecture, Long Haul infrastructures, VoIP Transport and Switching, Sesion Border Controller, Media Gateways are also required. Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering and analysis is essential to this position. The hiring manager would prefer someone with Sonus experience.
