Senior Network Engineer 7170
Location: Omaha, NE
Description: The Senior Network Engineer will perform network analysis, design and development of network protocol, as well as coordinate multiple projects, from beginning to end, effectively communicating updates and results to management and team members. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluating business requirements and making recommendations on network design and hardware purchases to fulfill business needs. Working closely with clients, end users, business units as well as third-party providers, he/she will provide tier 3 support for network and data interface equipment including isolation of issues to specific software, data, or network components.
What is expected:
A CCIE certification and Fortune 500 company experience is preferred, but a minimum of 5 years network infrastructure experience and 3 years of project management is required. An Associate’s Degree or higher is also preferred. Cisco and multi-vendor experience is a must.
