Web Application Developer - Java/ColdFusion 7453
Location: Omaha, NE
Description: Our client is searching for a Web Application Developer to develop and maintain products using various Web technologies in the ColdFusion and Java environments. The chosen candidate will participate in the improvement of existing products, as well as the creation and design of new products for their Web Hosting product platform. The Web Hosting development group will focus on enhancing their specific content and functionality on their product market customer Web sites.
Qualifications:
- IT related college degree is required. BA/BS preferred
- 3+ years design and development experience focused on ColdFusion and/or Java based Web applications
- Experience with ColdFusion is a benefit
- Must know SQL and how to design a database design required; knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server desired
- Experience with Java Web Services required
- Experience using XML, HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, and CSS required
- Ability to analyze product requirements and designing a solution for that is needed
- Must be able to create prototype applications and demonstrate them to help validate the design idea
- Proven experience in user-interface design and implementation for Web-based solutions required
- Must be able to work both independently, and in a team, for the delivery of goals and design
- Wants a person that likes to stay ahead of technological trends
- Must have good written and verbal communication.
