RiverPoint Completes Core Conversion Testing for The Hartford
Chicago, IL (November 15, 2005) - RiverPoint Group LLC, a privately held information technology services company, today announced it has successfully completed an extensive data validation and conversion project for The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. The project was necessitated by The Hartford’s purchase of CNA Financial Corporation’s group life, accident and disability portfolio.
RiverPoint contracted with Accenture and The Hartford to provide data validation services processed to ensure that the consolidation efforts were correct and successful. RiverPoint provided and integrated their project methodology and testing strategy processes along side The Hartford’s Project Implementation Approach to increase project monitoring and communication. Adding to this unique blend of consulting services was the integration of RiverPoint’s on-shore testing team and Accenture off-shore resources. This merger allowed RiverPoint to reduce project costs and deliver timely testing execution throughout the implementation.
The core conversion project consisted of the group life and accident insurance operations and commenced March 2005 and was completed in November 2005. Short and long-term disability conversion projects continue with an expected completion date of May 2006.
